Introduction

Maharishi Patanjali Parivar is a commitment to promote health and well-being of people through Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medical science gaining worldwide prominence as a holistic healing system.

and Kalpamrit Ayurved Private Limited work under the direct inspiration and guidance of world-renowned Yoga Guru and accomplished Ayurveda exponent Swami Karamveer ji, who founded Divya Yoga Trust (now Patanjali Yogpeeth) along with Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna. Swami Karamveer, Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna started their journey together in 1990-91 and established the Divya Yoga Trust in Haridwar.

However, Swami Karamveer ji chose to take his own path, maintaining his own values, and established his own Ashram at Lonavla, Maharashtra and then at Purkaji on the bank of holy Ganga in Uttar Pradesh. In these Ashrams, he has continued to share Yoga and Ayurvedic knowledge among the people through the ancient Gurukul system. He has devoted his entire self to the well-being of people by propagating Ayurveda through his own proprietary formulations based on the knowledge enshrined by the father of Ayurveda Maharishi Patanjali.

Swami Karamveer was born to a simple, educated farmers family. He was inclined to spirituality in his early childhood and was very much inspired by the teachings of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. He completed his triple MA in philosophy, Yoga and Vedas and went on to meditate in the Himalayas, staying in caves amid hard conditions. His intense practice of Yoga and inclucation of ancient wisdom from various saints he met on his way has honed and empowered him to pass on true knowledge to the humanity. Baba Ramdev continues to hold Swami Karamveer in high reverence - in his own words www.youtube.com/watch?v= CXp91UncN1w.
